Input from you talented people who contribute to the bullboard - please?
I do window splashes in the Grand Rapids area.

I want to promote what I do as its own marketing thing and not be seen as a general purpose sign company.
also want to do more design and tech-
But Too many people ahead of me do large format digital- would end up price competition dead end.

I have a solution but need to kick off the concept
-new site -new logo -need feedback
http://twitpic.com/cr6q5 -with special mix neon red
http://twitpic.com/co5it/full- working on web theme
http://www.twitpic.com/cr5qf -finished this actual promo this week
also see- twitter.com/signsthatscream
Thank you

...Stay away from the computer and do something hand 'splashy' style on your ride. Do it in all paint, in your favorite hand letterstyles, colors and tricks. That will set you apart from the printers.

Ditto what Mr. Pickett says. Don't be restricted to just the glass area, make use of the entire vehicle area, do a splash on the vehicle.

This is what I do. not extream.
http://www.twitpic.com/e90b5
http://www.twitpic.com/e91w9
Car dealers who say we don't do that type of thing here -will use mine. I do use a lot of neon color.
some illustration. The van WILL use some Ronan sun yellow-and be hand painted- whatever the design. and oneshot I mix with something else so that neon red will look red not pink or orange
I'm not the hot rod bad-ass type and Grand Rapids Isn't either. But -Love Tardiffs stuff. Am I Just in the wrong biz? I've followed the signscientist website too- man has that guy grown
So Just as a logo- is this just lame?

..I'd say your painting is EXTREAM-ly good! And it does look like you are in the right business. With the name 'Signs That Scream' you almost have to throw some screaming paint on your ride.

...or some kind of a screaming cartoon or character on it...maybe on the hood?

The logo's great on the side windows and shows you know what you're doing on glass, but give the hood it's fair due. It's a great place to really show your stuff and bring them in close where they can see YOUR style.

I find once you get to that point, any stripes or additional designs down the sides tend to reveal themselves and complete the package.

Have fun with it.

WOW... I do window splash mostly...
now that work looks so good thinking you use a commputer cut on letters
your design and layout are awesume
your artwork the same

myself I use the neon colors on the the backend of tailgate only cause ... the neon colors would get me to much work if on both sides and front ..knows
got a box van neon colored letter design... when it was running ..I would park near working site and once a hour I'd be handing out a card for a bid or they be asking something related

likes your new design ...but 1st thought is it street smart advertising.net or just advertising.net...does not matter but just a thought

really like that you put extra work into your splashes.....myself I would need to charge more then I am ...be ok with me but way too many sign shops here

WOW ...
oh the auto dealers do use them here ..but now it's the parts & service dept and used cars

....but the government here does not like them .... so alot of times I put it 3 mths later it comes down not able again too

I'm glad you are in florida
-might put me out of biz otherwise.
But hey since you are where you are
it would be great if you would join me on Twitter.
Grand Rapidians, other than car dealers and my own customers, don't know what window splashing is.

Twitter is easy to do
type in twitter.com/signsthatscream
[Smile]
did some Tweeking will post the identity package on twitter- by the end of the week
Just talking helps and I'm going to be a little braver on the final product THANKS!
