I woke up this morning with 3 gigs ( gigs = a musicians call for work ) on the phone, no wallet in my pocket or my house and shop, an overdrawn statement from my checking account on the computer which I shot down to the bank only to find the person in charge isn't in yet but will call me as their computer records are different from what they put for the account holder. A crazy start up for me considering I am supposed to leave for Newport to visit with Crazy Jack.
Yesterday I wore short pants and washed my vehicles, assorted stuff in my house, removed garbage from the house and shop put it in the van so I could go to the dump today and now I've been up since 7am wondering how this happened. Check this out and you'll understand as the first photo is the spray booth and the second and third left and right of the main shop, now where the heck is my wallet?

Oh boy, a hidden picture puzzle. I found the Eiffel tower and fire extinguisher, but I can't find the wallet... most likely it's in the last place you look.

It's ALWAYS in the last place you look! After you find it you stop looking for it!

Hmmm! Having been to visit at this home ground where Joseph, lives, I see from the recent photo's that there is now some room to move around. Joey, has so much "stuff" and value in in every direction it's hard to believe. Also there is storage at other locations where a whole lot more stuff sits in waiting. Joey, who is a one of a kind item is not ready to hand off any of these things to anyone offering a pittance of worth. He would rather do business with people who live a real life and not looking for a chance to get over on the boogie woogie king. Besides all that the house is being totally turned upside down and rebuilt to the way it's supposed to be. I admire this crazy man's efforts and know he will have it all together in a matter of time.
Stay with it Joe, come up when ya can

Jack..I have never met you..but after meeting Joey last summer..I have to agree with you...
He is an honest, real and truthful guy.
If he says he has it, says he has done it or knows how to do it...It is the God's honest truth!!
When I first encountered Joey, online, in chat, on this website he called himself "Hassle Fiasco"...I wondered about his attitude and his statements..AND who the heck he was....Eventually we became online friends do to a love of old Mopar stuff...pictures reinforced our belief in each other's interest.
FINALLY, last summer, we met the big guy and I can honestly say it was everything and nothing like I expected.
A gracious host who welcomed us to his home, apologised and explained about some of the renovation work going on (like none of us have ever been through all that!!)
He is a fine man in my opinion.
Sucks to be 6'1" and feel short standing next him though!!!
And it really sucks to look at what he has done and IS doing these days while I am content to sit back and take things easy.
Wish I had Joey's drive and aspiration at our age.
Sorry to sound all mushy Joey..but yer a guy that many of us could aspire to being buddy.

Joey It's time to call your young nephew that located your lost (misplaced) ring.
Like looking for a needle in a hay stack, at night with only one eye!

Well thank you Jack and Dave for the kind words and OP, if you look at the first photo and on the left, you'll see the 6 foot skeleton in the metal jacket, he was the only one who has stolen anything from me here and as you see, he didn't get far.
I guess its old age setting in that has my body and mind misplacing or temporarily losing things that are needed in order to be who I am. First it was my JM ring a year or so ago and than my wallet couple days which I found the very next evening while sitting back in the easy chair. The same day an overdrawn checking account and also my cell phone wouldn't take a charge as I found that one of the little pins inside the charging thingie in the cell was broken so I had to replace with a new phone and yet had to wait till I found my wallet so I would have I.D. cash and whatever else that was needed. They say things come in 3's and so it was. When I'm able to relax it is much easier for me as with anyone else to re-step our day and figure out where things went wrong and put it in proper perspective so to speak. Everything is fine now and I'll be in much better shape since I've decided to lighten my load.
Its been so hot that I had to add another cooling unit to my bedroom, its been between 106 and 113 for a couple weeks now.
Michael, I gave the Truman to the Great Dane society as he was way too much for me to handle and in my reality was a PITA who had the option of an open door policy at all times to come and go as he pleased yet never wanted to leave and explore the mountains or fields, just sleep plus he ate far more then I could afford and his excretion was as big as Whitey's but he did it on the driveway right where I walk.
Of course I still have Jerry Mathels dog Molly, a 16 year old Rat Terrier who was raised here on the property and is very well behaved plus hunts small varmints and eats them.
Rick, if they made things like that, I probably have one somewhere.
Len, my 15 year old great nephew now lives in Idaho and doesn't even call me to find out how I am, guess he's growing up and hasn't the time.
Well, thats the end to this scenario, whats next?

Try the third drawer in the kitchen (or whatever resembles the kitchen), Thats where everything gravitates to in our place. Failing that I'd try the third drawer in the toolbox/es or between the seat of the car and the console. How many guesses are we allowed?

David and Bob, I understand both of you to believe that I haven't found the wallet which I did if you would have read my reply above David's reply which said in regards to the wallet, I found the very next evening while sitting back in the easy chair. I know now that here in my home town of Letterville that I am not the only one that's affected by the heat.
You'll all find out one day when when you hit the mid 60's in age that the heat is not your friend.
