Great picture, but it reminds me of those "the sign's already finished but please go back and pretend you're painting it so I can take a photo" scenarios...he doesn't seem to be holding a paint pot!

Bill Beckner has a name for sign painters who don't hold the paint either in a cup or on a pallet. The guy that keeps his paint on the floor with the thinner and a magazine for a pallet is a DIPPER. Bill

Depended on wether it was a "knock out" or a "creamer" where a cup or dippin' would be.
