My daughter went last year and is trying to get me to go with her this year. I'm considering it, but I have this thing about taking a shower occasionally.......

I could have driven there in 2 hours for the years so far it has been in exsistence but after living in the plains of north Texas, I have seen all the dust I ever want to see. I lived in Auburn, CA and had many invites to go at no cost. No thanx...
What are the tickets going for this year?

Jack, last time I looked it was about $250. I've been wanting to go ever since I moved out here. One of my buddies here at Yesco gets to go for free 'cuz his kid is ticket taker. If you want to have fun, go shopping at the Reno Walmart the night before Burning Man. It's quite a show.
I would watch em' coming back. A lot of them would take over the parking lot at "IKEDA'S" market in Auburn. Most of them had I'm so new I can't help it, written all over their asses and whining with every step. No I can't block out any time of my day for that. I'm as liberal as the next one but my common sense works a lot better these days.

Cisco, Google "Burning Man". It's an annual event in the Black Rock desert north of Reno.I'm not even gonna try to describe it. Jack, my friend goes for just one or two days. I think I could handle that. A whole week would kill me. Sunset, I had you pegged for a burner!

Sunset, I met you at Pontiac a couple of times mostly with Billy Pickett. To put a face with the name, toward the end at Judy's panels, we were both wearing multiple necklaces, shells. You remarked on them if you remember. I've wanted to go to Burning Man for a few years now. It's a haul for me from FL, so I've never done it. I can't believe you go! At the same time, I'm not surprised!
I'm wondering, if one could only show up for 2 days, which 2 would you recommend?
Doug, A long time ago I knew some Rainbow family members, and they said something about Moonbow people on Kauai. Did you ever hear of them? Do they still exist? *75* Dead shows is REMARKABLE!

It gets Old Sonny, I personally like to have a lot of fun. But, my good friends who have been to this gig have seen a lot of stupidity and hustlers taking advantage of all the dummies...It's not that pretty. Dirt, just is not in any way the glorifying of a natural spirit. No amount of smoke or high is convincing enough to spend time with dirt. I like naked on a secluded beach. Don't look anyone, my way... The lady's ok but!
Just my opinion. I have lived in the desert. It sucked.

...Drugs, dirt and art, sounds like a letterhead meet! ...If you're f'ed up enough that you have to lay down in the dirt, then embracing dirt is just a natural part of the experience. Some one could sell showers (or handy wipes) there and get rich! ...Hey Sunset, there will be a lot of nudity too, so be sure to post some pictures for us!

Actually Billy, they do sell showers. Using play money. And yer play money and barter can buy anything...! Including germs.
