Hey smart people, anyone know how to open a .7z file on a Mac? I tried Stuffit Expander but it didn't work. The Mac tells me it's a PC Zip file!!?? Strange, Stuffit usually works. I guess the main question is, should I just bring this over to the PC in the other office? Or do I need some crazy program to open it even on the PC?

Wikki says this: 7-Zip is an open source file archiver designed originally for Microsoft Windows. 7-Zip operates primarily with the 7z archive format, as well as being able to read and write to several other archive formats. A user can use the command line interface, graphical user interface, or Windows shell integration. 7-Zip began in 2000 and is actively developed by Igor Pavlov. It is related to a cross-platform port, p7zip.
Unlike WinZip and WinRAR programs, which are distributed under proprietary licenses, 7-Zip is distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License. 7-Zip was the winner of the SourceForge.net 2007 community choice awards for "Technical Design" and for "Best Project".[2]
It's a 1 meg download & you should be able to unzip your file.

Hey Ian, Yeah I found a Mac program called "EZ 7z" using Tonys link up there. It's a free program for OSX that opens 7z files and also creates 7z files. It installed perfectly and I got the file opened. I needed the Monster Energy drink logo for a Kawasaki a friend of mine owns. The side panels are damaged so he wants to wrap them with the Monster Kawasaki look on one of their special bikes. So I'm re-creating it in Illy as we "speak". Thanks for all the text book info, and thank you both for the links.
