I am new to this site and Gerber products also and was experimenting with my software recently. I took a picture and uploaded it to the computer, then placed it in Gerber, applied a white vinyl to it, and hoped to print it on my Gerber Edge but when I sent it to print all I see is a X but no image. What can I do to print it? Also, what is the difference between Omega 2.0 CS and CP? I don't know what I have but I want to upgrade to 3.0 CP but don't know which upgrade to get. There are some at Hyatt's but there are so many. Thank you. Clint

Upgrading to Omega 3.0 is well worth it. "CP" stands for "Cut Print". If you're driving an Edge, its the one you want.
If I'm not mistaken, the CP, CS, and DS classifications are no longer used since Omega 3.0 has been released.
When you send a raster image to GSPplot, the image seen as an "X" is the default. There is nothing wrong. The image will print just fine. If you want to view the actual image, just press the "-" (minus symbol) on your keyboard.
This default to the "X" is a carry-over from the old GA software back when computers weren't nearly as powerful as today. Using the big ol' "X" instead of the image helped keep the computer from using what was once very limited resources that could slow your computer down.

An Image can be any of the following: template, Spot or Process color. Spot and process will print, a template will not. To change use the Image Fill dialogbox.
