Looks like the higher the nail, the lighter it will become appear. Lower nails appear darker. Hmm, and did you notice the wedding ring? He's married, and with that awful hair.

Maybe one day when I'm really, really, really bored, I might do a 12 inch tall convex letter, using his method. Don't hold your breath.

Man that's just incredible . . . there is no end to what a human being can achieve when obsessed with particular mediums and methods. True artists are so amazing in that realm and once they feel they have exhausted all their ideas and mastered the thing, they will move on to something even more dynamic.
I was'nt able to read much about the finished peice. I wonder if it will be cleared to retain the shiny nail heads. At the same time, I think it would look so cool for them to rust creating another look entirely. It also inspired me to want to see them all welded to an iron plate and placed as an exterior sculpture . . . maybe in bronze or painted to look like aged copper . . . am I askin' a little too much? lol
Wonder what kind of contracts he gets or will get to create his art? . . . I mean to say, I wonder what kind'a money he's pullin' down for his art?
The only thing better than creating art-from-the-heart is creating such art AND being paid well for it . . .
