Donna when you were a little girl, did you poke bee's nest's while your little brother stood under it.If you have a little brother, if not I'm sure you would have done it.

My closest brother I grew up with got ticked off at me if I bugged him, so that wasn't much fun. So I went after my niece and nephew instead. They still remember dandelion milk. Nuff said!

Both Jay and Dan brightened up the Lodi Walldogs, now Pontiac should be even more fun and I would not miss it. Bill

Donna . . . doesn't matter. Dan can't 'win' . . .
But I sure am curious now . . . though still focused on my project.
In fact, Dan may even be let in on the secret BEFORE we get to Pontiac . . . I'm that confident . . .
Never squander a teachable moment . . .
And yes, Dan . . . I have been very quiet. The dog. We'll leave it at that. No point bumming anyone out . . .
Mr. Riedel . . . your services will be required on the Allen Candy Co. mural for at least one day . . . but you can't spend that whole day with my wife . . .

Just so ya'll know... Dad's not ignoring you, he hurt his back this morning and can't get as far as the door, let alone out to the studio. So, it may be a couple of days. (Okay, knowing him - he'll hobble out sometime tomorrow, but we'll see.)

I enjoy the fun of friendly fire and also know that turning projects into competition kinda defies the intent of "Letterheads." We all need to do our best and teach and encourage.
PS. Has the sqiggly line brush that does thirty strokes at a time been invented yet?

I have to agree with Rick and it seems to me that posting traffic on this site is a lot less than a number of years ago when there seemed to be a lot more posting traffic. A lot of familiar faces and regular posters from the past who I respected have all but disappeared.
I wonder if all this posturing and self promotion by the elite signmakers has intimidated all the much more humble and average signmakers from posting. Are these 'superstars' really helping us or just making many feel like they aren't worthy enough to participate?

Marty . . . everybody sucks as a designer and sign artist when they first begin . . . but you gotta have 'heroes' as we all have had.
In my opinion, (and knowing the 'competition' between Dan and I is not real and there is something 'brewing' here between us that is actually good but must be kept quiet) the designer's whose work we respect in this industry should be seen as their 'lead' in our following their examples - not castigating their skills.
The 'elite' signmakers - though I don't truly know your definition of that word - seem to wave me on with encouragement - not taunt me with their skills . . . but that's just me.
I hope when the Diaz' family's Pontiac Walldog meet is over, you'll understand better why Dan and I are 'posturing' with our 'friendly fire' as it will focus a light on Letterheads/Walldog's that is well-deserved. There IS a reason for this playful 'game' . . . and it will 'reveal' itself in Illinois come late June . . .
Please trust me - and don't mistake our 'battle' as anything other than 'play with a purpose' . . . thanks, Marty.
P.S. - Your parents gave you one of the best names I've ever come across . . . Marty Happy . . . I've always dug that since you started posting here!!
