I was just curious what app tape that you use. I've been using R-Tape Conform, Clear Choice AT60 and Conform RLA and was wondering what other tapes might be good that I may want to try? Thanks.

For regular tape, in my opinion, conform is the best- but we can't get it in PR, unless I get it shipped [Frown] . Right now we use clear poli tape. Its pretty low tack. I'm not sure what # it is. But we prefer low tack stuff.

I prefer TransferRite Ultra over R-Tape. Especially the clear. It doesn't have nearly the static issue the R-Tape clear has.

I like the Poli clear stuff for certain jobs, and Transferrite paper stuff for the rest.

I didn't like the Poli paper app-tape at all.

Hiya Larry,
Since I helped develop it, I'm biased towards R Tape's conform 4075-RLA [Smile]

Other manufacturers are Main Tape, Transfer Right and several vinyl distributors and manufacturers have their own house brand.

For most work, just about any medium tack tape will work. But, each has its own characteristics.

One more note, you can use high tack for small and detailed graphics or low tack for prints and large pieces.

Havin' fun,

Checkers

Also makes a good paint mask. [Wink]

I like the R-Tape RLA Conform. I've never had any trouble with it, unlike the old R-Tape years ago which fell apart when wet.
