Hi Heads,

Recently I purchased a Roland Vers Camm SP300V and Sign Lab 8. I can't find the correct color profiles to use with Oracal 3551RA vinyl. Currently I am creating the layout in Sign Lab and exporting it to Versa Works and printing it from there. Is anyone else using this set-up? If so what do you do to get the correct color? I would be happy to call and talk to you if you have any solutions.

Thanks

Rob, That is what I find most frustrating about my Roland SP-540, finding the best profiles. Most vinyl manufacturers only make a limited number of profiles and they seem to be for some of the more advanced machines.

I have found that using the GCVP profile from Roland is usually a good place to start though. I can't tell you how many times I've searched for long time for a profile for many types of vinyl and ended up using that profile with very good results.

My workflow is from Illustrator or Photoshop directly to Versaworks. I've been using the Adobe products since the first versions came out years ago. This works great for me.
