The tunes cranking, a Harley tank in the shop and not cutting vinyl. Happens every once in a while and I like being reminded that a little skill, not technology, still has a place in this business.

1. A warm sunny day so I can go camping. (still raining)
2. A finished front entry tile floor. (still undone)
3. Curtains! (I wish)
4. World travel obtainable. (LOL)
So until I have the opportunity to get happy, I start each day with the finest coffee I can grind and brew up, hug my lil' guy and critters, be thankful for the health I still do have and that I can pay most bills, and ...
install vinyl. Go back to #1 now.
I like to poke fun at myself and situation. But in all honesty, if you can be happy right where you are, you can find happiness most anywhere. Those bonuses are simply icing on the cake. I'm a true believer in that.
Things could always be better, however I believe that's natures way of having us strive for where we need to gravitate towards.
Rely on your chosen faith, love your family and friends, take care of your health, earn enough $ to pay the bills, do something for work you actually enjoy and if you still aren't happy, you might wana see that doctor.

A hot cup of tea on a Saturday morning, laying gold leaf and some long paint lines, while the birds at the feeder feast out the window.
Waking-up to a good 25 inch blanket of fluffy snow,...and knowing you have gas for the snow blower and the day off.
A good 15 mile "grind it out" hike in the Adirondack mountains, that leave you bruised, battered, hacked and bleeding with pine needles down your back, a couple of empty water bottles and some aching legs.....and a serious sense of accomplishment.
Being on top of any peak in the Adirondacks with solitude and views unimaginable.
The 12 hour "one on one" talk with your teenage son up and down those mountains,....with no interuptions.
A good long bike ride on an autumn day.
A couple cold pints at the end of a long day with some really good music on the headphones.
Good cheesecake.
Peace.

happiness is..... - me on the grill at the park hooking up a fresh batch of bbq wings seasoned with my special seasonings - the kids running around playing at the park only coming back to drink a juice box in 10 seconds flat, then running off to the next adventure. - enjoying good food and good company with friends, joking, talking, laughing, eating, talking some more. shooting hoops, sitting our old behinds down for a few more bbq wings and a cold drink.

A very nice shotgun in my canoe, a box of birdshot, blind, deaf and dumb turkeys lining the shore with letterheads waiting to pluck the turkey quills for a woodgrain demo at Si's BBQ. Falling asleep on the green grass with a full belly next to my Lovin' Woman.

Happiness is... the day my husband is told that he no longer has any cancer and this strange kind of nightmare is over.
A gorgeous spring day with wild flowers blooming everywhere you look and the color green is over-powering and the baby leaves are about to burst into grown ups.
Spending time with close friends that make me laugh til I wet myself....hehehehe.
Being at a Meet and feeling the incredible rush when painting on a wall next to someone you just met and feeling like you are old friends creating something new and wonderful together. And don't forget The Blues cranked up to really complete the cycle of creation!
Having clients that keep on coming back because they love you...and bringing their friends too.
Being incredibly thankful that I have been blessed with the gift and ability to create art that other people want and are willing to pay for, and gives me so much joy in the process of creation. YAH!
