If sign makers go on strike, is there anything written on their picket signs?

Thanks guys, I figured as much.

I haven't been doing to many sign projects lately and don't really need to. (I've been pimpin myself out as an engineer on the side full time [Roll Eyes] )

I did do a 2x8 banner today which was fun. [Big Grin]

you get an order for 100 banners
you get a credit number card for the payment
You prepay for the shipping to their personal shipper but they tell you to charge more on the credit card.

The shipping is a good amount of course because its overseas.

They get the money for shipping.

Credit card gets a charge back to you because its an illegal or stolen card.
You out the shipping charges. They walk away saying, Stupid Americans

Do not ever accept overseas credit cards from anybody you don't know personally.

Direct bank transfer for 50% of the job, cleared before you even start. Sorts them out real quick!

Otherwise, as Curtis says, you out the freight charges and sitting on time lost and material cost for 100 useless banners as well!

Yeah, and I think I ordered a 100 banner order from overseas like..........NEVER!!!
Why I would think someone from overseas would order banners from america where it would cost them 10x the amount of just getting it there is stupid...STOOPID!! The reason they keep scamming americans is because some of us fall for it, simple...

(oh, and the fact that they're scumbag scammers)

Hi ! We got the same letter today! I figured it was the same as we have had before, but usually they say 40 banners, and say Rev...so and so...I guess to look more ligit. Then they ask about if you accept payment. One time, my employee played along, that was when they called via a "deaf" conference call...she countered the guy who called us, then he started coming on to her! Wow, I couldnt beleive it. You can usually spot the scams because of the language and punctuation, like the period before the sentence... I hope no one falls for these, especially without investigating it online.

Brian, these scams are getting really good.
I feel extra special as I got a personal phonecall from a soft spoken foreign 'gentleman?' calling himself James LoveRich...(yeah I could love 'to be'rich too) asking do I accept credit cards?...Well, yes I do! Can I quote on 100 banners they need them right away. Yes, I can. I did play along and asked that he email me exactly what he wanted and I would look it over....within seconds I received that email. Then within just a few more seconds he had the nerve to call back and ask 'How much would 100 cost?' and when will they be ready?....Bwhaa Haaaa. I politely told him this conversation is over......and never heard back from him....I guess they downsized and got your number....beware! Nice to see you are still around...happy engineering, Brian.
