I'd love to go just so Duncan and I could do our traditional walkabout... I think I finally have the lay of the land figured out in Vegas that even Duncan wouldn't be able to confuse me.... but unfortunately it won't happen this year.

There are about 3 or 4 of from here that are dicussing it right now, one guy looking to buy a Laminator. The show is pretty much dominated by "monster printers", but some of the usual suspects are there as well. Las Vegas is always fun, and too far for us.

Hey Chris, I forget where Laurie and I are staying. It's not the Flamingo unfortunately, but I know my way to the pool and said Margaritas. I'll let you know when I find out. I think we arrive on Wed. PM and leave on Sunday. Are you bringing Bill or Gina?

I'll be there maybe Friday afternoon and for sure Saturday. Joan and I are making it the first leg of a trip to Zion, then the North rim of Grand Canyon and back to Prescott. I want to look at the Summa printers and the Gerber booth. I forget where we're staying but its close by.

We decided to go at the last minute. Driving down from Reno with my buddy Gil from Yesco. We'll be there Fri & Sat. We're going to the Sand Dollar Friday night to here some blues. Should be a good time.

I'll be there on Thursday and Friday. I didn't see any seminars that looked interesting, so I'll just troll the exhibit. Probably two half days with plenty of time outside the convention hall to see the sights.
I thought about taking the "Installation" seminar, but I don't really want to get better at installing - I'd rather just sub it out. The marketing seminars all seemed pretty generic (none were by sign guys, just by marketing guys who give the same canned talk at lots of conventions).

We have shortened our trip and will only be in the hall on Friday...all day though. Making a side trip to meet a cousin I have never seen (he is 83 so I should not wait). Will keep our eyes open for you all. Ditto on the seminars. Have some specific things to find.

If any of you get a chance, go to the outside veranda at the Wynn and check out the reflecting pool and waterfall at night. It has some spectacular lighting effects and huge mechanical "flowers", great music, and special effects that change about every 15 minutes. All free and way cool.......

I know I said many times I was going to be there but the situation changed and I'm skipping a year.... besides, production here is booked until about July and a trip at this time would really set me back.
