Doing a little electronic house cleaning this afternoon which quickly lent itself to a stroll down memory lane and this post…
Four individuals are kneeling, one is standing on his tippy-toes; care to guess which one that might be?
I think we had just finished solving not only the issues facing the sign industry, but the US in general.
When talent is present, not much more needs to be said. Well, except maybe “Texas Super Burrito” or “FreezeCat”.
Two giants within the industry!

Great memories you've unearthed there Mr. Gilliland.
These were taken at Butler's Workshop in Arlington, Texas. (October 2004) We had just enjoyed a fun filled evening at the Cracker Barrel, listening to some outstanding stories told by Butler and the short Okie (Mark Yearwood).
Butler lost money on that workshop because all the people that said they were coming didn't show up. I was the only one from Texas. When I called David and Susie and told them that we were not going to have the required number to meet the minium, he said "Well, I'm coming anyway".
Thanks Bob. There were some giants there I'll have to admit. I was just along for the ride.
I don't really think it was very nice to kid Yearwood about being short, though.
