Story last night on TV ...
Woman, solo mum, broke and heavily in debt suddenly recieved $18m deposit in here bank account.
Being honest she went to her bank and said there had been an error ... the money wasn't hers.
Bank insisted it was a legitimate transfer from another bank.
So she contacted the other bank and explained the situation. Nothing happened .... money still sat in her account and she was afraid to touch it in case they wanted it back.
Six months later still there and no reponse from either bank.
Then, bingo! Another $18m was deposited !!!!
Seems same FU between banks happened again.
But there's more!
THREE TIMES !!!!!!
She sort legal advice and is now a multi millioneer on the interest alone! They can have the original amounts back whenever they sort the mess out!
