For some reason I can not import AI files into X3. Do some of the rest of you have that problem? I have one from a customer now that I can't get open. Could someone open it and convert it for me? most of the time when an "ai" file won't open with corel it is because it was saved with compression. ask the client to save without compression -------------------- Élaine Beaucheminscrip Lettrage Scripsit inc. St-Hubert, Quebec, Canadawww.scripsit.net

Thanks Elaine. I have been wanting to purchase Photoshop for a long time. Will it open AI files or will I have to get Illustrator also. I really don't think I would use illustrator very much because I am so familiar with X3 for vector work. -------------------- Art that sells. There is joy in the journey. Blake, Corel X3 will open an AI file if it was saved as a CS version or older. Corel X4 will open an AI file if it was saved as a CS2 version or older. Also, I'm not sure but I think the your AI file was compressed inside of Illustrator. That will cause problems, too. Anyhow, I've imported everything except for the missing linked file into Corel X4 and saved it as a X3 file. Let me know if you have any problems.Click Here . -------------------- BlueDog Graphics Wilson, NCwww.BlueDogUSA.com Warning: A well designed sign may cause fatigue due to increased business.
