That's some beautiful work, Catherine. I never realized exactly how those horses were made. I also noticed a band-aid on a finger....just wondering how many more of those are around, and how many blood stains are on various parts of those animals?LOL
I've seen some horses made of fiberglass, but these are truly magnificent. Is there a lot of follow-up maintenance required on them....cracks, weather-related repairs, etc.? What a job!

Many years ago I was fortunate enough to help repaint some of those horses for a guy restoring a very old carousel! Workmanship in those things blew me away too!
