A customer has changed their mind and now needs the background area to the new backlit flex face signs we just installed, changed from white (the material colour) to black. It's an easy enough area to mask and paint (brush or roll) and I'm thinking vinyl screenprinting ink? Anyone have any suggestions? Am I on the right track - or is there a better product to use?

Try a spot with white acrylic latex to see if it will work. If so go with black. I have used the method on banners.

why would you go thru all this trouble when you could use vinyl?

for hand lettering ...I use Ronans Aquacoat for clear UV aquathane ... the colors fade quickly, in Florida they need a clear coat to last longer
