Just a comment. Looks like a well done project. Question...on the small banner to the bottom left where it says, Fined the Loonie. Should it be "Find" instead of "Fined". Just curious and not bad mouthing only critiquing.

You may want to check the spelling of 'amasing' too. Here on the other side of Canada we spell it 'amazing'
I find it curious why a black and white picture is roughly photoshopped into a color image... it makes you wonder about the truth of the 'fish stories' contained inside...

If you are trying to add a bit of a historic feel (the 1920's pic) you could maybe take the color out of more of the picture (maybe sepia tones) to give it a bit of balance.
I think it's cool that you have that picture to work with but nobody (few) will know what or why that small part is black and white just by looking at the cover. (unless you put a caption I guess)
What is the triangle thing in the center? To me it looks like a barn in the river.

Stephen, there's some nice work there, but typographically, I would still do as Jon suggested, and add a space between the comma and 'Our' in the subtitle, plus I'd shift the subtitle to the right a bit, to centre it more.
I can't see why you have capitalised the first letters of Brook & Stream, when they're just plain old nouns. Also, it reads not as well, in my opinion, having 'fishing' on the third line- I feel it should be in the same line as brook & stream.
Perhaps the loonie could have the date photoshopped to become 2009 also- being able to see 2007 doesn't help, unless there's a special reason for showing 2007.
I'm also not keen on the slash before 2009.
I see now, your heading...I'd have worded it "nothing but a [bold]proposed[/bold] feature cover..."

Jon, all you say makes sense, but I thought 2009 would be a more appropriate date to be displayed on the coin, if it had to show a date at all, that is.
