Whenever I send an exported eps file out of SignLab it imports into other programs with double lines. It's a pain when creating toolpaths for the router and also more work in Corel to eliminate the double lines. Is there some way to prevent this?

Jean,

It doesn't seem to happen with mine - what version Signlab?

Have you tried exporting as an AI file instead?

Although I have SignLab, I rarely use it so I'm no expert. I have run into a similar problem with Flexi if I haven't checked that the line width is set to ".000" after importing.

I use signlab export alot and do not have that problem. Forgive if this sounds stupid but, are you sure the double lines were not there to begin with? I know that alot of images for bestbrands are doubled up.

I'm using SignLab 7.1 and I am using plain text. I just typed the number "3" in SignLab and exported it as an .eps file. When I imported it into Corel X3 it had two parts - an outline and a solid number 3. Also, when it gets imported into Enroute program there are two lines that have to be separated and one gets deleted before the toolpath can be assigned. Since this is happening in both Corel and Enroute I am thinking the problem lies in the SignLAb exporting somehow.

I am using v.8 Jean and haven't experienced any problems like that but I almost never export in that format anyway.

Jean may be correct.
EPS and AI work off of Fill and Stroke.

Select everything in Signlab.
Go to your LineStyle Tool and clink on None or No Line. Then reexport and it will come into Corel as you want.
