I have a 24" wide format screen on my work computer which I love to use. I considered (briefly) the 30" but thats a lot of real estate on your desk.

Make sure you look carefully at the specs... its not just about size. Not all monitors are created equal and price alone should not be the deciding factor.

I have a 19" regular format on my internet comuter... seems kinda small now. [Smile]

"its not just about size"

That's what I've trying to tell you.

I've got two (side-by-side) Dell 22" monitors and they are great. Whenever I have to work on a smaller screen it really seems awkward. Bob Gilliland set up my system and suggested the twin monitors and they are terrific. Really handy to have several programs going at once.

I have a dual monitor set up as well... a Dell 24" Ultrasharp (which I highly recommend) and a HP 22" side by side...

I recently purchased a 24" Gateway monitor for my mom-in-law and it has a gorgeous picture quality and color.

I'm currently using a 22" widescreen.

I was at BestBuy Sunday and saw a 28" that looked very good. What was neat was that you could rotate the screen vertically and the image on the screen would adjust automatically.

So here I am drooling over the idea of dual vertical 28" monitors side by side watching "Chuck" on one and Photoshop CS4 on the other.

Sigh...dream a little dream.

Glenn.. I don't know about the 28" you were looking at, but one thing I've noticed about a couple of the 27-30" monitors is their max resolution setting is the same as my 24" which.. to me, if it's not going to display any more info on the screen, I'd rather have it a little tighter and not looking pixelated...

I wouldn't go less than 22" wide screen. I bought an Acer 22" that was on sale for $279. I went that way because Consumer Reports said it was one of the best 22" monitors around. I'm very happy with it and may set up twin 22 inchers when I get my new Mac installed. Everything else looks small now.
