Ok so maybe this could be or should be on the portfolio page but I'm soooo excited. The company I work for sent myself and another lady signwriter (Joanne Docherty) out for the last four days to refurbish and repaint this large trailer unit. It's taken us four days to remove some sections of mural and paint new images in and to also repaint all of the paint on the truck. It was last done by Clarkson sign studio seven years ago. It's all enamel br a few vinyl stickers at the front (I even went over some vinyl with gloss acrylic to make it look sharp!) and it's been fantastic fun.

The kicker is that on Monday all the big-wigs from head office will be coming to view the new makeover on the outside and the internal makeover which is a childrens 3D theatre, (Life Education go to all of the schools around the country promoting healthy mind and body stuff.)

After the head honchos look it over Princess Anne will be shown the whole thing too. NO PRESSURE to do a good job eh!!!!

Here's little old me to give you a perspective on the size of the unit.

It has been such a joy to spend four days with barely a sticker in sight!!

Looks good enough for the Queen herself.
You two knocked that out really fast!
Nice work, Anne.

Anne, when doing that much outlining, do you prefer a black fitch or a flat?

Enn,
How did you get Jiff to sit still long enough to pose for those characters?

Well done kiddo, splashing paint is fun, even better when people pay you to do it.
Can't wait to toss some gold around, eh. See ya soon.

Thankyou all for your nice comments.

Rick, you're going to out me with the brush question! I'm pretty much self taught. I don't know the technical terms for brushes!!! I used a Haydn series 200 extra long size 12 http://www.draw-art.co.nz/products/brushes/haydnbrushes6.htm

Jon, you're a bushman, you should know that anything feral can be tamed. (Even Jiff!!)

Paul if this truck had had gold on it I would be in seventh heaven right now!! Looking forward to a really fun time n Cowra [Smile]
