Raymond is a very special guest. We are waiting with great anticipation for his arrival in Yarrow.
Since its almost his birthday (and he's already the oldest by far) we are giving him a place of honor.
Now we know he has a thing for MDO and loves it coated out... just so we went to great pains to do just that for him. We have some small panels all ready for his magic.
And since he is height challenged we didn't want to have him sit uncomforably low at one of our regular height workbenches. So I talked with Phoebe and she agreed to let him use her workbench... provided he doesn't get too many paint spills on it. She'll be watching close.
And since Raymond's workbench will be a little lower than most in our workshop we still wanted to give Raymond a good view of the proceedings... it would be a shame to have him come all this way and then miss it all.
So we looked around our shop... and came up with the perfect solution...
We put his workbench on the MultiCam. Its certainly sturdy enough, being built from SOLID welded steel.
He'll have to duck when the router returns to home during an AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGE... and I know he's not used to that feature on his pea shooter. I also have safety harnesees which we could rig to the vacuum hose gantry and just swing him out of the way when the MultiCam makes sudden moves. This thing moves WAY FASTER than what Raymond is used to in a router!
But I figure I can also just yell out when its going to happen... and see if Raymond can still move fast... but then again if he's taking one of his naps at his desk that might not be a good idea...
So here's a picture of Raymond's setup...
-Ready for Raymond in Yarrrow...

A platz in the hand is worth a lot of promised armadillos in Yarrow...

Alton once told me that armadillos are actually born dead on the side of the road. Ray, get Dan to scare you up some Nanaimo bars!!! You can thank me later.

Tney sell Nanaimo bars at the Deli too. And I already promised some to Donna. But I'll share with Raymond too.
We'll have plenty of fresh baked apple pie too... with alamode. I'll put some hot sauce on it for Raymond.

Raymond, I don't know if I'd take David's offer on giving you a ride. With airplane gas prices going up, he told me he's converted it over to alternative fuel and needs you to come along to help pedal.
Of course, if he'd take off the 'Texas' options, he'd achieve a better GPH rate...

I'll just bet that everyone here will be glad when this workshop is over and we can all get back to the regular posts...but in the meantime, we (at least some) are having a great time poking fun at each other.
Look out Dan, I think I see them coming around the corner.
