I was in another town and I spotted some signs with some really nice posts to them, so I went back to study them a little closer and found out they were all made out of HDU.
Not handmade there were approximatly 12 small to fit 4x4 and 6 large 8' tall.
They were all stamped with a model number on them but no company name.
I know they were not custom because I found a slight flaw in one and when I checked the rest it was in all.
They were pretty ornate posts with fluted columns.
Anyone have an idea where some can be purchased?
I did not have a camera to take shots of them. That will never happen again.

There are some outlets for urethane posts, columns and railings. See in google under High Density urethane Posts and Columns. I have a neighbor who had a special urethane fit to size set of columns made to wrap 4'x4' posts holding up the porch roof.

They might be pressure treated posts just sheathed with urethane. I do that all the time. The stuff I get is from Fypon (www.fypon.com) but their dealer network is rather sporatic.
