Karen, was going thru old posts and saw your hdu problem sign in december '05 or ,06, the one with the latex bubbles, but couldn't find out what happened with it come spring thaw, was doing some research, interested in possibly getting started in sandblasting and was wondering what the outcome was. Hope the bubbles went down. If you have already posted this anwser somewhere, could you post the link for me, if not would like to hear what happened. The sign was beautiful btw.

i remember that lovely sign! i ended up taking it down during that summer, stripping it and repainting. it was the primer that failed. the paint peeled down the raw hdu. i'm sure there was a post on it, probably back in the summer of 06. i don't care for the heavy primers...i like sign prime myself...its thin and thoroughly dries in a short time.
