On another post, I mentioned that I had e-mailed 1 Shot with a question and was suprised at not recieving a response. Within an hour of posting, I recieved a call from "Louie" himself and he apoligized, but said he had responded. He answered my question personally and offered me a years supply of 1 Shot! OK, I made that part up. At any rate, thank you 1 shot for personal your response.

Louie is a great guy and very knowlegable about One Shot, his been with the company for a very long time. Too bad he doesn't come out to as many meets as he can but honesty? I don't know if anyone has ever told him, but in person, damn that Louie has got some bad b.o. whew! its like some kinda mixture of Axe body spray, sweat & turpentine... uh, oh I better shut up now before they cut off my lifetime supply of One Shot!

I actually do have a lifetime supply of 1-Shot that isn't from Spraylat but from Consumers circa 1975, 1-Shots original manufacturer. It is so sweet to work with with its smell of lead and thickness that I cherish every second I use it. The 12 color formulas that were put into effect years back still work as excellent as when they were first introduced and through them I can make the 76 colors I carry, from Buckskin to Ice Green without see-through on my first stroke. Is is luck or is it the fact that I make it a point to know WTF I really want to use without jeopardizing my status of who exactly I am and what exactly it is that I do and how long it should last.

I've still got some old cans of One Shot (Consumers Paint Factory) and the smell ...just makes my heart warm. It has a label on the side that says "WARNING! Contains lead. Dried film of this paint may be harmful if eaten or chewed by ghetto kids. Combustible." I used to get so ticked off with Chromatic; no matter what three colors you used, or in whatever ratios, it was going to come out a useless purplish color. One Shot is pure beauty.
