30 years ago, on Sept. 2nd, we got married on our front porch with family & friends watching from the yard. And after he kissed the bride, he turned to the crowd and said, "Well, come on in!" And the party started! We are going to go down and visit our friends the Durhams this weekend to listen to some blues and then Monday go "explore" somewhere else. We don't plan vacations much anymore. We have found our best times are if we just amble and stop to see whatever strikes our fancy. Anyway, I just want to thank him PUBLICLY for being such a wonderful guy. He is a great friend, husband, dad and grandpa. He is talented, smart and FUN and marrying him was one of the best decisions I ever made! I love you honey! Thanks for 30 years!

Congratulations! We've got you beat but we slip in behind Raymond.
Sophie and my 36th is October 4. Some very dear friends are marrying their daughter off that day and we're going to the wedding in South Texas. I figure, since it was our anniversary first, we get first choice of all the gifts at the reception.

Congratulations Jane and Bill. Sharon and I got married on Sept 9th, 1978, so you have us beat by a week..........but we have 793 lbs of kids, so probably have you beat there. She's aged maybe 20 years in the last 30, but I've aged at least 40. On paper at least, that would make me the easier one to live with.

I also applaud you two for being who you are. It sometimes takes a lot of work to get this far along in life, and apparently, you both have the right chemistry. And you have some fine offspring to be proud of too.

Bill and Jane! Congrats you sweeties:) I have to say I am very honored to know you both: you always make me feel very special and like family when I am around you. Same to you girlfriend! I'm the lucky one! We've had a blast and here's to the 2nd 30!
Here's a pic of us as kids at our farmhouse just after we tied the knot. A drop dead gorgeous day to be with that hottie.
On that day we had friends come all the way from Pennsylvania that I didn't know were coming. Most of them had never seen the flat prairie and big sky. So when the the time was right I took them out to the end of the lane and they witnessed a fireball sunset right smack dab and centered on that east-west hard road. The cameras were clickin' and the party was in full swing and it seems like it's been a party ever since.

OK Jane, I think you need to get a DNA test from Bill cause that skinny guy with the hair is definatley not Bill! You still look the same (hot as ever!) but I know Bill and that can't be him! LOL There's no doubt in my mind that 30 yrs from now you'll be celebrating 60 cause you guys are great together. Soul mates if I ever seen em.
