Here's a job we just finished, we really don't do a lot of wraps, but this one came out pretty good, we used Arlons new Vehicle Wrap Vinyl and I have to say it's fantastic.
We used up about 234 sq. ft plus a little of the perforated Vinyl for the windows....
Can any of you who do this type of work give me a ball park on what you would charge for this Job... a ball park figure would suffice. All of the car is completely wrapped.
Thanks.

I dont wrap either I just wanted to say what a great clean simple layout. Nice to see a wrap with no skulls, flames, atmic explosions in the background, VERY NICE!

All of the car is completely wraped, the car is a grey color. Thanks for the comments, they are appreciated.. and all of the vinyl was printed to match the colors needed.

Looks good, very effective. I think a resonable ball park price would be $3000 +/-, maybe a little more with the perf. We've heard from different sources that $12-15/sqft, installed, is a good start, keeping in mind the more difficult areas to install.

Nice Job Neil. Clean and readable which is more than I can say for most wraps. I just did a partial on a Ford Edge for a local radio station for 3K. although about 25% of that was in trade for airtime. I'd say 2,550 to 3 would be a good ballpark.

Boy I'm right in the range.... I tried to take into account everything.. we also had to redesign the graphics to fit, that also takes a fair amount of time... it took 2 of our workers 2 days to install this on the vehicle as well... there is hardly a crease or wrinkle as well, a very smooth install. Then they had to print laminate and prepare the graphics.. this sort of work would'nt be worth doing if you can't get the $3000 plus range for it.
The customer just picked it up and was extremely happy with it.. and understood the price.
One other thing... just last month I had a former customer come to me and wanted me to re-do a wrap that he wanted me to do in the first place, but because of a cheaper price he went somewhere else.. Guess what? They did not do the job as I had predicted, I warned him of it and also pointed out what to look for. Get this, they did not laminate the Vinyl, and they did not do the roof, and now he expected me to re-do the job for him.... so I agreed, but while I was preparing the files he gets another Idea to try and have this done somewhere else and then have me or someone else do the install... needless to say my hands are washed of him.

I've been getting into doing wraps lately and I'd say about 3g's is right in line. If you have a good set-up and you get in the groove, wraps can be very profitable. I like to sell partial wraps where we can stay away from the problem areas and just work with the main flatter areas using die cut digital prints when possible.

Right on the mark Mike, as far as the final price goes.. but the install took quite a bit of time, I charged a little lower for the Graphics and increased the install price.. it took a little longer than I expected.. those bloody curves.. but the guys are getting better at it, or should I say faster, because they do take their time, to get a good install.
