Someone in his dad's trailer park no longer wanted it. Sukey likes to sit on my belly when I use it. Lost another 2#. That makes 22# total. I was bad and ate fried food, but I won't be doing that anytime again soon. Love....Jill

Holding steady at 185 lb's and just today someone noticed I had shed some weight!!!
Next step is to do more walking and mild exercise, so far it has been diet that has done the work for me.

I've managed to gain a couple of pounds this summer by cleaning up my diet ... but my wife says this is something people don't want to hear-!!!
I can't convince her that a fast metabolism is just as frustrating as a sluggish metabolism.

I managed to put on a coupla pounds a few Christmases ago, but happened to have my "annual" check up about then and my doctor noticed my cholesterol levels were not good. I thought, because I'm so thin, I could eat anything I wanted. Oh well.
The fast metabolism is fine until I run out of energy. Wouldn't wanna be up a creek without a sandwich...

It's been over a hundred here for a couple of weeks, the humidity has been in the 300 range . Simply moving outside for fifteen minutes sheds ten pounds!

I just hired a personal trainer last week; I think he's the antichrist. I went to the gym yesterday to work out "a little", trying to get rid of the soreness from my workouts with the P.T. Of course I always overdo it and I'm sore again today but it's a good kinda sore. "No pain, no gain" is my mantra. It's a good feeling to have bulging, rock hard muscles and a great physique at my age.

OK it's been a year and a month since I started to try to lose weight. Did really well the first 7 months. My goal was to go from 155 to 130. At the end of January I hit 133. So...........in all my infinite wisdom I decided it would be a good time to stop smoking too. No it was not. By the end of May I had gone back up to 143. Hmmmmmm, now what? OK it was relatively easy to quit smoking. It was painful to lose the weight. Started smoking again. Once the weight is off permanently I will quit again. Still weigh 142. Have been 142 since June. The thing about it is time. I was losing weight because I was exercising. A key component for me to lose. But I just don't seem to be having the time to do that these days. Getting really frustrated with the whole thing.

My dad had a stroke last week and is in intensive care now. He is 63 years strong and was very healthy and active.
It looks so far like he'll make a good recovery, but this is just a harsh reminder that we can all be brought low without any warning.
Take care of yourselves.

The total gym is the best! My son has it now, as I let him fly the coop, finally! Well, I love my true back, as I have lower disc problems and trying to put off surgery..but it's a wonderful device and very inexpensive... I had to pass up the bike trip with my friends this weekend in New Glaris in the northwest part of IL. But, I found a sitting job and will do my exercise as well as I am able to. Take care of your backs, folks! and your hearts!

It's dropping off somehow...I think it has to do with a product I've tried called "Bromelain". It is adding some enzymes to my system and I have a lot more energy because there is not the usual stomach issues. So..I'm back to my Cheyenne Yoga,(you have to be there), walking more miles and more active. I am not the bull I used to be but don't mess wid me.
Holding steady now at 168 and pretty.
Jack
P.S. Deb, git ready...I am for sure gonna be there. Spring of 2010.

I thought about getting a Total Gym after seeing a commercial. The next thing I knew, one showed up at my house and the money had been drawn out of my bank account. You don't have to order one; Chuck Norris knows who wants them and how to get his money.

Joey, it's not fair to compare Chuck Norris to Issac Hayes. Here's some little known, well established facts about Chuck Norris:
1. When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.
2. Chuck Norris doesn't read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants.
3. There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live.
4. Outer space exists because it's afraid to be on the same planet with Chuck Norris.
5. Chuck Norris does not sleep. He waits.
6. Chuck Norris is currently suing NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for his left and right legs.
7. Chuck Norris is the reason why Waldo is hiding.
8. Chuck Norris counted to infinity - twice.
9. There is no chin behind Chuck Norris’ beard. There is only another fist.
10. When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn’t lifting himself up, he’s pushing the Earth down.
11. Chuck Norris is so fast, he can run around the world and punch himself in the back of the head.
12. Chuck Norris’ hand is the only hand that can beat a Royal Flush.
13. Chuck Norris can lead a horse to water AND make it drink.
14. Chuck Norris doesn’t wear a watch, HE decides what time it is.
15. Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door.

Jack finally gave me the go ahead to pronounce his where-a-bouts. I sadly reveal that Jack has been in prison for the past couple years somewhere on the Oregon coast where money has always been tight and escaping is futile due to stupidity and an uneducated backwoods lifestyle, where postal service workers can neither read, write or see properly and his mail gets lost daily. I've offered help in freeing him from the perils of emptiness and harsh weather as well as giving him a free flowing design on any expectations he may feel at any given day. Jack's mind is bubbling with many new and fresh ideas which can explode at any time as he has called me many times at hours most persons are asleep. I find it ironic that one so talented can be chained to a anchor waiting for the next big break when the menu where he is bound to reads " CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS "
Anyone with extra warm clothing, gloves etc. who is willing to part with them can forward packages to Deb Fowler for which she will hold them for Crazy Jack Wills when he is able to move back to his hometown of Peoria just in time for daily below zero wind chill factor and enough snow to turn his face 1-shot #104L and this will all occur when and if Jack ever gets his U.S. mail address straightened out with the postal workers union which he has been fighting with these past couple years.

I've stepped up my walking when I can squeeze the time in. Summer is a strange time of year here. I'm either camping or working so it's a mad dash to one or the other.
I've JUST officially temporarily stopped the reno work until Sept so I have more fun time with Cody. I found I was getting short with him only because I didn't have time for him. RED FLAG. Priorities are back in order!!
I changed my campsite to a river site one for added privacy. Cody has new boy neighbours close to his age so it was a wonderful move for both of us. I have a renewed excitement to get back to lah lah land. So today we head back up there for a few days. And I've pushed my workload back to Sept after next week. I want to reclaim the last week of summer doing what WE want to do together.
My clothes tell me I'm losing 'some' lb's although I'm not attempting. It just happens when I get stupid busy. I make little time to eat so when I have to, it's healthy and then on I go. Hard to gain excessive weight doing that.
But when we go camping, I always pick up some treat for us on the way to enjoy up there. Found these incredible chocolate chunk brownies with this gooey icing... and I do enjoy my occasional mocha iced frappachino on the beach topped with whipping cream and chocolate drizzle... ahhhhhhhh
I do somewhat look forward to a more regulated schedule again to fit in the excercise but am not really in a rush for it. I think I'm too tired right now...
Enjoy your summer folks! Make it what you want it to be! That's not a bad thing.
