Nearly 20 "expressions of interest" and I haven't recieved a single entry yet
I will extend the DEADLINE DATE to give you an extra weekend to play in ....
NEW CUT OFF DATE is Midnight Sunday 10th August "Your" time. This means I should be able to do the draw Monday Night "OZ" time after I get the last one from Hawaii!
Please don't leave it to the last minute ... It's a lot of work compiling the info, sizing pics, posting results and e-mailing partners in the swap.
Go over te basic rules again:
Theme "80 years Old" ... old signs, labels, scrolls, techniques whatever.
Panel size ... 450x300mm (18"x12") is ideal. Anything goes really, but remember you pay freight, even airmail overseas, to your partner.
It's nice to sign your work and include "Panel Swap #8" if possible. I also tape a business card on the back for future reference.
Take a pic of your panel. Keep the pic size down please. Email Pic to me at jonsigns@icr.com.au along with your full name and POSTAL ADDRESS. Please headline e-mails "Panel Swap #8 Entry". Helps sort them outa the trash!
I will place all the entries in a hat and draw them out in pairs. These will be the swaping partners. I will e-mail everyone with each other's details. After that it's up to you to swap.
If there is an odd number of entries, I will do another one myself to even out the swap.
I will then post all entry pics here for everyone to enjoy.

Jon, My mom beat me to the punch on this one...just cut her backer board for her piece...more pinstripy-deco vs type heavy. Mine is "gasp!" digital to look old...inspiration thanks to Mark Fair...will send next week when she comes to visit.

Any more panels underway out there? ONLY TWO WEEKS TO GO! Not many entries in yet.
I think the lead-up time for this one was too long. People have lost interest, or are leaving it to the last minute!
I have nearly 2 months work on my books at the moment, so getting results out is going to be burning the mid-night oil stuff. Thankfully I did my panel earlier.
