See how getting into politics can screw up your thinking. Any sign person would place a window banner so that it reads from the street. This guy thinks that the blank side should face the street, and the painted/printed side should face the mere handful of disinterested folks that he's pitching his spiel to. Preaching to the converted ( if that's who those disinterested folks are ) won't win any new support, but perhaps he doesn't really need any new supporters.
Just the first indication of his financial smarts. Invest in a window banner, and place it so that it does the least amount of good. With the track record of current politicians, he may have found his true "calling".
