No, I wouldn't ride mt. bike in the rain.

But I did fish in the rain last Sat. Morning, and I've riden on a Harley in the rain. With the right rain gear that is. Hardly a drop seeped thru, ... thank goodness.

What tv shows do you watch regularily?

I found this site just a month after his passing and by all accounts, it sounds to me like he had the heart of a true Letterhead and was a genuine gift to all who knew him.
Al Zanetti and Pat King are right there behind them.

Very much lately.

10 years ago I was not doing well at all both personally and professionally. I can't help but look at the cars in the driveway, the now paid off home and my happy family and think of how my life has turned around since then.

As for the future....well, I've got some plans made, but I still like an occasional surprise. Keeps me honest in the knowledge that I cannot control everything and that fate can sometimes grace you.

Are you an impulse shopper or do you plan all your purchases?

"Have you ever stopped to think where you have been and where you are going?"
every time I go into a different room in the house, I often wonder just what I was going there for...just very preoccupied with stuff at the moment!

"Are you an impulse shopper or do you plan all your purchases?" I plan them, and frequently forget the minor stuff- then buy it on impulse when I see it & am reminded of the need.

Question... I'll reask that pair of questions that I've just answered: Are you an impulse shopper or do you plan all your purchases & Have you ever stopped to think where you have been and where you are going??

Just picking some of the nosey questions I want to answer...

I like to plan my purchases with a sprinkling of impulse buys.

I think of where I have been and where I am going. I am proud of the accomplishments I have made.

I met pat King and Al Zanetti. I also worked with Mike Stevens for a short spell in San Jose in the early 80's.

Awards? I won awards in every major sign contest there is except the ISA contest. I was featured twice in SignCraft.

As far as the penny goes:

"..but if it's tails just let it lay or else bad luck will come your way."

So, have you ever been arrested?

How many times have you catch yourself counting with your fingers?

Especially when the end figure is less than 10!
Otherwise I gotta think about taking my socks off and counting toes!

Gimme something like 3x7 .... I'm stuffed! hhahahaaa

I grew up as "Daddy's Girl" and was closer to him until his sudden death when I was 29.
Since then, I have developed a close relationship with my Mom. She has the best advice, and she listens to my silly little problems. She is also very proud of me, and that makes me feel good. She even went to a Letterheads meet with me once.

Have you ever tried Sushi, and if so, what did you think of it?

My mum. Lost my dad when I was 12. Mum raised us 3 boys (two younger brothers) by herself from there on. Back in the bad old days when there was no Social Security or hand outs. She taught us kids how to live.

She is now 88 and declining in a nursing home back in New Zealand. I feel bad I can't do more than phone her every week. Last time I saw here was when I came over for the Kiwi Letterhead Meet last year.

Answering Jon's question:

Not following through and going into the military out of high school. I went to college instead...

Jills question: Sushi is just a fancy name for bait.

Dang it, Jon J and I posted at about the same time...

Favorite soft drink?

Favourite soft drink: water [Smile] (don't do soda's) Altho, a soda water w/ a splash of cranberry juice would work.

Jill's question about sushi ... ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Just had some Friday Night.

What am I doing on the fourth of July? (Jon's Question) We'll be going to a couple parties over the weekend, hangin by a pool, taking the kayaks out, doing some fishing... and taking in some fireworks. Hey, maybe even make some of our own later ... [Wink]

Got any bad habits?

Very.
The 42" HDTV is in place with all the needed wires and we're just waiting for the cable company to grace us with a new box. The old one doesn't handle the HD channels and there's a waiting list to get one. Until then, the PS3 and Wii games look absolutely fabulous!!

What makes __________ your favorite kind of signs to do?
