I recently purchased an older model vinyl express cutter. UltraPro 24". It came with a copy of LXi Master Plus version 6.6. I have a background using lasers with Corel Draw 12 and I want to do my designs in Corel and import to LXi to cut. So far I have been unable to import any Corel files to the LXi software. It says file type not supported. Any recommendations as to how I get up and cutting?

Roger, sometimes Corel can install a cutter as a "Printer" Then you can cut right outta Corel! You may need to search for an UltraPro driver on the net. Also, most cut software is based on EPS files. Do your work in Corel, then export as an EPS file, open it in LXi. You might have to save as a lower version of EPS, I would think Corel 12 is much newer then LXi 6.6

Try exporting your file from corel as an AI version 1.1 and then import the AI file into LXi

Are you "opening" or "importing" the file? I know older versions of Vinyl Express software would just open Corel files directly, no import needed.
