Does anyone know of a business that specializes in cutting blank sign frames, preferably out of polymetal or alumi-core. I am needing maybe an oval or one with scroll at top?
Thanks

Hiya Mary,
I can buy from my supplier or from a wholesale sign company. However, just about anyone with a router should be able to help you out. But, you may have to buy a full sheet.
Off the top of my head, you can try bettersigns.com without buying the full sheet. But, I'm not sure about their substrate offerings.

Havin' fun,

Thanks for the info. I checked out bettersigns.com but they use PVC. I haven't had good luck with that material outdoors. Does your supplier offer pre-cut signs?

Hiya Mary,
I started replying earlier, but my browser crapped out.
Anyway, better signs is the only one I know of that offers stock 2d designs.
One of my regular suppliers, harborsales.net, will router cut shapes or carve nearly any design I send them into any substrate they have. I have to do my own finishing.
The same applies to other company I use, 21stcenturysigns.com. I'll send them the file and they will cut for me. However, 21st does finishing too. I doubt they would be interested in just cutting 2d blanks, but you don't know unless you ask.

Havin' fun,

SignBracketStore.com by Hooks and Lattice is now selling standard 1" PVC sign blanks in ovals, circles, squares and rectangles that have a double bullnose for two sided signs.

We can also add a frame grove to give the flat sign blank a little more dimension.
