Okay, I have a nice lady who along with some other signs, she wants some small 12"x18" corex sign with a magnectic strip glued to the back of the sign. Ah, I don't think this is gonna work. Have any of you done this or had a request like this. And if no one has done this, let no one ever do it.

Alicia

Use double sided 3/4" 3M tape.
cut your magnectic the same width and length.

Attach your tape to the Coroplast and affix the magnectic.
It all depends on the coverage you want.
Full stripes on each edge and a few centre strip.

I really don't understand the reason behind this project.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, we stick magnet to all kinds of stuff ... just depends on the end use.
Temp signs to stick to metal doors, walls, etc... OK.

Vehicle ... NO (obviously)

You may need to use a stronger magnet than the roll stuff we use for vehicles. Try to find some FerroCeramic magnets like they use in computer hard drives. They are so strong that two of them together will cause a bruse if you put them on your finger... maybe a little blood too. So, dont put them on your finger [Wink]

Lee, can you help get these things off my finger? It's really starting to hurt... and bleed a little, too.

You can get magnetic strips with a realy strong tape on it from fellers. No need to glue it.

Make sure to include a MPH and WINDLOAD warning,,,lol.

We saw alot of these in the 60's, heat form theroplastic signs with magnetic signs.

Theres a reson they stoped making them, they liked to fly off.

Someone must of been out of magnetic material and
sold her a plastic with magnets attached previously.

Did you ask her what happened to the last set?

Good Luck
