Very nice ride Jake!!! Always liked the MG's. Couldn't afford them, though, when they were new.
Dale...My brothr will be a happy camper. He is an engineer at Honda Canada. Nice looking car.

75 MG was close to last production of them. yours looks to have the raised body to meet bumper impct specs. i think yours is a single carb too. 1800 cc engine. good thing is yours is a NEGITIVE GROUND version. early modles was POSITIVE GROUND and had 2 6 volt batteries under the back seat. expensive suckers too. older models ELECTRICAL WAS A NIGHTMARE. bad wireing, LUCAS alternator...electric fuel pump(worked good some times) and ill tell you this, to get gas milage you need to not think youre in a race car...but sittin 3 inch off the ground gives you that felling.....))))))) i had maybe 15 MGB's, id buy one to drive and 2 FOR PARTS!!!!!! my 1st one was a 67 MGB-GT, and what blast i had with that. i bought it for $400(in 1970)didnt run. rebuilt starter was what it needed. drove it for near 2 years and sold it for $1000.00 then i got a 68 TRIUMPH TR-250.....now that was a race car.....

Cute car Jake........but can I ask a question? How the hell do you get in it? My neighbour has an old Triumph & I just can't get in it, & I'm not that big (6'1"...207lbs). It requires that I bend in places where there are no joints. It's probably better with the roof off....I've never tried that. I'd love to have one of those if it come in my size.

Jake, super ride, should be a blast to drive. Dave, sleek machine for sure, but I have a question. How big is the gas tanK? My daughter used to have a Honda CRX, got 45 mpg on a road trip. Over 35 around town. Good Luck to both, on your new shop trucks. Classy!

Rodger, I too wondered if he could get in and out. Here's proof he can get in.
This was just moments after he handed over the money for his daughter's new bedroom suite. On the way back to Sevierville, it began to rain and I felt it was a Kodak moment. I'll cherish the memories.

At one time or another I had a '47 MG TC, a '53 MG,a '56 TR3, a '54 Austin Healey 100 and an MGB, can't recall the year, and I fit very nicely in all of them, in fact more legroom than any vehickles I've had since, and I'm taller than Rodger. It's a matter of attitude, I think! Mur

Since he can fit in the car, I assume he can fit a 4x8 on to that tiny rack on the trunk!

Sweet little classic car Jake!! You don't actually get into it; you put it on. You gonna put some stickers on it? Don't know if you've ever had a convertible before but if not, you'll probably never want to be without one again. Nothing more fun to drive thru the mountains in. I'm happy for you bro.

Why do the British NOT make Microchips?.... They Can't figure out how to make them LEAK OIL!
I've owned 20 or so British cars over my life and MAN what fun they are. A true Sportscar Through and through. No Freaking Brake assist, No Handling controls. No Computer to run a set of injectors. Just you and the road...
I even started and ran a British Car Restoration shop for a Year before I sold my part of it to get back into signs. If you think sign customers are hard to deal with... Oh My GOD! I began to loath working on other peoples Little British Cars!
I have a steet Midget much like yours Jake. The first thing I did was to take off that HIDIOUS Battering ram of a Bumper off the Front and Rear. It shed nealy 200lbs! The next thing I did was to lower her a little. 2.5 inches in the front and 1.5 in the back. Now "Jenny" Handles MUCH better. If you need any advice on Motorwork or suspension I'm Your Man!

*Sigh* Another pic Jake sent me that he hasn't posted. Guess the sports-car convertible thingy is working for him... he's already picking up chicks. For $50 I won't send this to your wife, Jake.

Jon .......that reminds me of an old commercial that used to be on Y94 in Savannah, for a car dealership in Hinesville. It went something like... "Why, that's like puttin' two tons of fertilizer in a one-ton truck"

You realize this isn't Jake's first little sports car. Not too long ago, he saw "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and had a brilliant idea.....
I can only imagine what he's gonna do with that MG.
