I was asked to provide a customer with numberd markers to indicate the spaces in a 120 space parking lot. He says he's srung cable above the spaces. He sants me to put the numbers on "small pieces of bare aluminum". He then wants to drill them with a drill press and zip-tie them to the cable. Are there places to buy small sign blanks that would work for this, or, better yet, premade numbered plaques that I could buy wholesale and sell to him?
He's also interested in No Parking Signs, and other directional signs to be put on various sizes of aluminum sign blanks ( mostly 2' X 4'). Do you know a good source for these?
Thank You for your help!
Jennifer

I wouldn't zip-tie them either. Zip-ties are good for short-term applications, but over time they get brittle and break - especially outside. I would use small S-hooks. Fastenal is usually pretty cheap when it comes to stuff like that.
My mind wanders. And that's not a good thing, 'cause it's too small to be out there alone. Posts: 3129 | From: Tooele, UT | Registered: Mar 2005
