I had a great time and returned home feeling inspired and refreshed and stress free. I have lots of pictures and ideas and notes that need processing, but they will have to wait for a day or two until I catch up on the messages and bookwork here.
Rodger - It was great to see your new shop and be the first one to sign the Letterhead Wall of Fame. ( Dunc) Thanks for the scenic tour and hospitality.
Noella - Thank you so much for the invitation to spend a few days at Sign-it. What a beautiful home and shop! I was very impressed with Robbie and Suzanne and the way you guys all work together. It gave me some hope that having full time staff can work! I got lots of ideas for the upcoming remodeling of my shop and soaked up some beautiful design work that will hopefully rub off a little on me. I really enjoyed the time spent with you both at your shop and at Shane's workshop. Talk about an inspiring week!
Shane - I really enjoyed the workshop and your and Jackie's hospitality. I'm looking forward to implementing some of the strategies and attitudes you shared. I hope you have recovered your sense of equilibrium since the rowdy crew left.
Dan, Dunc, David and Rene it was great to spend time with you guys again. That's always really good for my spirit! Bob and Pam - it was wonderful to meet you both. I hope our paths intersect again.
Sandy - thanks for making the time to come and visit, sorry I never made it out to your shop, I really would have loved to see your church.
Deri - Thank you and Claire for the wonderful hospitality and the shuttling! What a beautiful home!
Steve and Barb - Once again you opened your hearts and home to a letterhead. The efforts you took to show me around and the party you threw are really appreciated. Thank you! Thanks to all those who showed up on Saturday to meet me and visit. It was great fun!
To everyone I hoped to visit and didn't make it, please know that I would have loved to have got there, unfortunately time or accessibility just didn't work out. Hopefully there will be a next time.
And a huge thanks to Jess and Cara for holding down the fort here and getting the work done while I was away. I couldn't have done it without you two covering.
Now I'd better get to work and make up for the time spent unwinding!

It was a pleasure meeting you as well. And yes, I think I'm back to normal now - accomplished my first full day of work today. I think I was talking jibberish for the first couple of days after the workshop. Jackie had to be my translator.

I wish I would have been able to spend more time talking with everyone.
I had a great time last weekend in Ontario meeting so many new people.
Rene, my son went to game 7 in Montreal against the Bruins. Not the outcome he wanted, but a great time watching hockey. A real blast meeting you. (Go Flyers, Go Penguins)
Where's Duncan?,....watching a Calgary game? (just ribbin' you)
Peace, Bob

But I visited you when I went to Winterpeg Murray! Pete, I'd have loved to make it out to your place, but I was afraid of what it would cost me!!!!! The thought of Pete's mall makes my credit card curl. Next time I'm out that way Canadian Signcrafters, Doug Bernhardt, Kelly Signs, and Rene's shop are all on the must do list. What I really needed this go round was some low key relaxing time. Sign it, Shane's, Deri's and Barb's were perfect, and as much as I would have loved to have seen much more, I think I played it right!

OOOOOOOOOOHhhhhhhhhh!!!! Nice shots of everybody. I really wanted to the Saturday at Barb and Steve's. But my sister's 40th birthday party was the same day, in Bayfield. Why does everything have to happen at the same time? Now I probably won't have anything to go to for weeks! Aaaarrghhh!
