Wow, I'm REALLY late on this one. But Happy Birthday anyway Bill. By the way, I have never thought of you as Pappa Smirf, that's just too blue. Mind you the Tetley Tea Bag song comes to mind....... Say HI to Randi for me! P.S. You are my hero too young man.

Happy Belated Birthday, Bill! Hope it was nice I was at a Show of Shows in KY: here's the link: I think you'll like it. http://www.sosovms.com/show_of_shows.htm
check out the line up of Vets I had the pleasure to meet. And Von Dutch the navigator from the Enola Gay was there with the band of brothers (2 original remaining and other great guys): you probably would have loved it!

Thank you each and every one, it is indeed an honor to have so many friends and well wishers this late in my life. My children gave me a wonderful surprise party, had put on a blindfold and took me for a ride for about ten minutes so I would not know where we were going. I thought we were way out in the boondocks, but right in town all the while. They hired a hall and filled it with family and friends. Set up a 12 by 12 screen and projected enough photos to keep going for a long while. Went skiing on Tuesday to finish celebrating. Bill

Hi Diane, yes, Randi used to ski, but does not any longer. Like so many others, she is worried about falling and getting injured. I enjoy it too much to quit yet, just like lettering, I am curious to see just how long to be able. Bill
