Anybody ever use this stuff? The commercials they run make it to be a pretty impressive product, something that just may be used to install signs, not to mention the other 1001 uses.

Google "Mighty Putty" and read the experiences of others who have used it. It's epoxy putty, which is available under different brand names at box stores.

It is basically our product with millions of advertising $ put behind an alot of BS. Don't believe everything you see on T.V..... I bought the Bowflex home gym.... from what they said watch the video... 20 minutes a day on the machine and you will look like the guy on the commercial. Well I did that and after 10 years I still have all my chest and arm hair, my skin is still pale not all tanned and I don't have those 8 pack abs like the guy working out.
Oh well maybe it will take 25 minutes a day!
Hummmmmm

Everytime I hear "Billy Mays here...", I know it's something I'm NOT going to buy. That stuff has been around for a long time; now it's repackaged.
The one that nearly got me was the garden auger deal....where you got this cheapo auger thingee that hooked into a cordless drill and you could dig to China in a flash. I couldn't believe they could give you the auger, an extension, and the CORDLESS DRILL (!!!) for 25 bucks or whatever. You don't suppose that could've been a Milwaukee or Bosch drill could it? ...ummmmprobably not. Probably uses flashlite batteries, and has a 3 minute or 3-use warranty, whichever comes first.
Don't you ever wonder if people really buy this stuff?
I've gotta go now. I'm going out and Mighty Putty the auger bit thingee into my new cordless drill, so when I dig those post holes today, it won't keep fallin' out. Wish me luck.
