Be careful with Babelfish, though, sometimes their context is out of place.

Ditto what Nikki said. Those sites are not accurate...at all. Find a native speaker to translate, unless you're fine with the translation sounding like Tarzan, or worse.
My mind wanders. And that's not a good thing, 'cause it's too small to be out there alone. Posts: 3129 | From: Tooele, UT | Registered: Mar 2005

Doug..You would be better off to pay a professional translator to do the job for you.
Depending on whether the target audience is Spain or Mexico there will be differences.
Same for Quebec or France.
I couple of years ago I had to do a bi-lingual jobsite sign for a contractor. I sent the copy to Mario from this website and to my sister-in-law who is a native French Canadian speaker. They both came up with different wording. In the end, since the sign was going up at UWO, I asked their language department to do the translation and it was different again.

Thanks everyone. It is the website translations that we are having trouble with. I am hoping to find native people. We are looking for France not Canadian French. We had a university do it but we are still having trouble with the structure..
