Yay Russ! Glad to hear your back in business. You saved $150.00 doing it yourself too. Good for you. Hay I wonder if some mechanic is posting on a web board for mechanics about how he saved $400.00 making his own sign? Maybe you should double check to see if you tightened everything. -------------------- Dana Stanley Mass. (508) 234-8193 http://stanleyphotographer.com

The thing about this that simply amazes me is that it has 43 responses to a post about a Starting Motor. [ February 16, 2008, 12:16 PM: Message edited by: Neil D. Butler ] -------------------- "Keep Positive" SIGNS1st. Neil Butler Paradise, NF

Actually to be specific, only about 6 or 7 were about a 'Starting Motor' and the other 40 were about a 'Non-Starting Motor'..... /Oh, I get it. //Good point. -------------------- Jon Jantz Snappysign.com jjantz21@gmail.com http://www.allcw.com

Stephen, I did take your advice. I tapped lightly with a hammer. I also tapped harder with the hammer later when I realized I was probably going to have to replace the starter anyway. It still wouldn't start. When I removed the starter, I could see the little gear (bendix?) was stuck in the out position. I tried tapping it then to make it go in. It stayed out. I do appreciate your help. -------------------- Russ McMullin Tooele, UTwww.mcmullincreative.com My mind wanders. And that's not a good thing, 'cause it's too small to be out there alone.
