Well I'm proud to say I'm down 10 pounds since the beginning of Dec. I'm watching the intake and am Exercising regularly... 3-4 hours of Cardio a week and the same for the weights, and am feeling much more energized.

Still putting about 15 hours per week into training.
I've started studying for personal training certification too. Kinda funny how much of the material I already know simply from living immersed into the fitness world the past 4 years.

I got hypnotised for weight loss! I didn't think the lady put me under because I swear I remember everything. But something must have worked because I have lost 9# in 3 weeks, I'm not munching all day, I'm craving healthy foods, and also water. And I'm not hungry all the time! I am also klutzily gimping along to Denise Austin on Lifetime every morning. At least nobody can watch me exercise at home. My daughter did the same just before Christmas and is up to 12#. We have a bit of a rivalry going. Love.....Jill

I'm thinking I've lost a couple of pounds just thinking about walking and exercising. I've been really thinking about it hard....and it seems to be working.
Actually, the flu has ravaged our family for the past couple of weeks, and I'm just now getting to feel better. Probably by the weekend, I'll be back to the routine...two+miles every other day and weights on the others. They say folks my age shouldn't try to get Schwartzenmuscles, but just do enough to maintain muscle strength. I have been noticing those sheets of MDO getting heavier, so I'm gettin' after it. I ain't gettin' old gracefully....I'm goin' down fightin'.

I'm training to summit Mount Rainier in July. I'm lifting weights and as soon as the rain slows down I'll begin pedaling my bicycle toward 100 miles in one day. The biking will be mostly on Mt. Rainier because it's all uphill, so to speak!

I'm down a few lbs after having been sick for around a month. What's interesting is, now that I can eat again, my stomache is protesting! I'm swaying more to less meats and more nature and nuts and I do feel better.
The walks haven't happened yet on a reg basis, but I do mini ones in the AM if cody and I walk to school. Jan has turned out to be a very iffy month weatherwise. I hate to admit it for fear of scaring the snow away but I'm starting to look forward to more outdoor stuff again!
Been buried indoors with sick and renovations but am really looking forward to some sunshine one day soon. But until then, I'll keep rippin' and hittin' on my house.

Well I've gone and got lazered to quit smoking. Happy to report it will be a month this Saturday that I haven't had a smoke. It's about bloody time, I smoked for what? Oh, ........I guess about 32 years. (yeah, I started before I was born) Went up 4 lbs. in weight. SO... that's not good. It took me 7 months to lose my 20 lbs. Now I am back to dieting to get rid of that before it becomes an issue. Geez, life right now isn't marvy, bit of a struggle, but I CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! The lady who lazered me said if I fall off the wagon she will do it again for nothing. And she gave me some herb pills and vitamins to take the edge off. So far its not too too bad. I have quit before. Both times when I was pregnant I quit for the entire time, but I also knew that it was coming to an end at the end of the pregnancy. And I have also tried about 5 other times. Been hypnotised for it, tried cutting down and going to lighter and lighter brands........they didn't work out. But this time its going to. Thank Gawd I'm a Stubborn Witch.
