Hi all Maybe I'm not to smart but,I have corel x3 and it has lots of vehicle templates but how do you find what you need in that mess? Thanks Ernie

Lots of file opening. Someone should make a list of what vehicle is what, huh?
I know... how about you do us a favor and crank out a list for all of us, eh? That would be awesome!

Hey guys, CorelDRAW has a "keywords" window when saving files! Not sure about this, but you might get lucky and all those templates could have the vehicle name in the keywords. Try typing what you are looking for in a search engine... whatever the main search program is in Windows. It might work. That would save lots of time.

Y'all are gonna laugh at this, but if it's not possible (or I'm too lazy) to go take a picture of a vehicle I'm laying out, Ebay is a great source for picture to use as templates. You can usually find the exact vehicle you are looking for, and they will have pictures taken from all sides and back. A lot of them are nice large pictures with good resolution.

You know, at one time it said the same thing. I thought if we could divide it up the list it would be more manageable. But no one took me up on it, so I started doing some searching...and I came up with this:
It is an eps viewer that will preview them in a window. I like it, and use it a pretty good bit.

You could try using RomCat, which is a clipart catagorizer for most all versions of Corel, including x3. You can get it from site like www.unleash.com & also download a prebuilt catalog saving the time it takes to make your own. Try it, but remember, you must have clipart cd in drive to use it correctly; otherwise you won't see pictures.
Or, you could go directly into Draw & click on Windows>Dockers>Scrapbook & direct it to cd. The latter was advised from on clipart cd. But Romcat does it better, I think.

Nice little utility made for corel draw that will search keywords associated with file saves and present thumbnails. there is a prebuilt catalogue available for X3 clipart or you can build a catalogue from any set of corel files. It's what we use to catalogue our own work, just include keywords as you save files.
I also loaded clipart cd's onto network storage device, makes life quicker and easier...
