It's doing the same thing here (using Safari) but I usually hold down the Command key when I click anything anyway to bring it up in a new tab to avoid having to navigate back. Holding the Command key still works, it doesn't open any new windows.
FireFox (also on Mac) is not doing the same thing so my guess is it's a setting in Safari.

Hi guys...last nite I removed the google ads from the buttom of the page and added the search for sign supply box. I'm thinking it has to do with the script that runs that is not working with the macs. I'll have to do some searching and see how to fix it.

Still popping up new windows here. Looking at three of them stacked up right now.

Con't, When I hit the "Add Reply" button it does post in another new window but the original reply window stays open and when I manually close it, it throws up a warning window that I haven't submitted it. Just a tidbit of information that may or may not help Barb.

Are there any Mac users that are not having the new window pop up issue, that can just click on the back button instead of having to hit the x ?

Barb, I'm not sure what software you're using, but the little bit of web window opening I've done is set by an option finding an option called "target=" and setting it "blank" reopens new screens inside the same window, while setting it as "new" opens each clicked link in a new window. (from memory, that is. There are ways of inserting the same instructions into the heading code of a page, but in dreamweaver, there's an option to set it with just a click, at the bottom of the screen in the options/info/navigation/whatever-it's-called toolbar)
Hope that helps!

Firefox on a PC here- no problems NOW, but three days ago, all pages opened up in a new window.

Same thing here using Safari. Was never a problem until a couple of days ago. Camino browser seems fine.
You can always go to the window menu in Safari and select "merge all windows" to put them back to tabs. Not ideal but doable until Barb gets this figured out.
