Hi All can any of the aussie people help me out with coreflute primer. Is there such a thing or does anyone have a secret recipe to paint coreflute in enamel successfully. Not sure what you guys in the states call coreflute? thanks

Thanks Jon esp never thought of that do you brush it on or wipe it on with a rag? I need to put vinyl lettering over the top would paint lifting be an issue?
A painter once used esp on a wheel cover I thought it would never work but it still on there.
Viponds do make a coreflute primer has anyone used it.

Alternately, we use corro ink from Australian Specialty Supplies I think they're called- it's an aussie company in Sydney- they make all sorts of screen printing inks & we get it from Brisbane.
It is soluble in turps- it's not really a lacquer stuff like vinyl screen ink is. It still dries very fast.
(Up over, they call it corro. Corflute is a specific propriety name here, but we use the word generically for any company which makes it. Signsheet Distributors has the rights to corflute by that name in Oz. All other brands are a copy.)

that's just a personal opinion- it says it's based on diesel byproducts, from memory, which sound like they'd be oily, which is anti-adhesion, and yet it helps adhesion- that's all!
You wipe it on, then you wipe it off again.
It's still a great product!
