Wondered the same thing sometimes especially when I am gluing up multiple panels.. I know I would buy it. I would have to say use Dibond/Nudo as I would think that MDO would be the weak link in that equation. As for the center lam I would have to say no as most of the time when you do that you usally add sometype of supporting structure in the process.

Several years ago I spoke to a couple of the HDU manufacturers about offering this type of product - their lack of interest was dismayingly profound.
Meanwhile, lots of signmakers keep trying to use HDU without laminating a structural material to it. Most of them learn the hard way (from broken signs, like I did) why that's not a good idea. So we are left to experiment with various materials and adhesives, essentially beta-testing the laminating process at our own expense. Not unlike how we get to field test most of the materials we use, since we frequently cannot trust the manufacturers to give us accurate information, whether its how fast our paint will fade to how much our vynull will shrink or how long laminated materials actually stay laminated once we turn them into signs and put them out there. Some of what we use is pretty darn good, like dibond; occasionally we get a real stinker (remember Medex?)
More often, we experiment and share info until we come up with ideas that work - one good one is using titebond glue to seal the edges of MDO; that came from Rob Larkham through this forum. But my point is that we - not the manufacturers - come up with these ideas and techniques to make the stuff they sell us, work the way it should. Maybe that's just the way it's always been, but frankly, it gets tiresome after a while.
