Maybe he's just got some of the neighbors mail by mistake... happens to me all the time. Check the return address. or just write return to sender on it and be done with it.

Michael; Was it a boy monkey or a girl monkey? Was it dressed like a postal worker, and if so was the postmaster notified. There has been a lot of stuff on the web lately about stem cell experimentation on monkeys.Maybe it was an illegial monkey forced from its under the bridge sleeping quarters and suffocated in the mailbox.

When one shoves their monkey in a box. Thye really need to be aware to take the monkey out or the monkey may suffocate.

Also, tell him that a big cage is more comfortable than a mail box (although I haven't seen the mailbox)
Reminds me, we didn't have a mailbox or a doggydoor, and the St-Bernard didn't survive when we put him through the mail slit.... but that's another story...

I respectfully disagree. Now, was the monkey installed wet or dry?
And, was he dead or just playing dead. If he was playing dead, was he a natural dead monkey actor or was he taught to be one.
