In Casmate you "invert sense" on the vector circle. For instance... the center vector/path of an "O", a "D", a "Q", etc. is always inverted. The outside vector/path is not.
Can you manually invert a vector or path in Coral? I don't know Coral that well.

Felix, I don't think there are any secrets to doing this. It's been discussed over the years on the BB and I watched it being fought with at a meet. I think in order to achieve good results the letters have to be manipulated individually.

Felix - I recorded the steps and am posting it on YouTube for you .....however, I am using CorelDraw version 12.
But the steps should be the same or essentially similar.
Here are the printed instructions in a nutshell, whilst I am waiting for the video to post:
1. Create your circle....holding down the 'cntl' key to keep it constrained to a perfect circle.
2. Select your 'text' tool and assign it the point size, font, etc you wish to use.
3. Place your 'text I-beam cursor' directly on the edge of the circle...and then left/click once....and type the text you want.
4. Once you have the text you want....change tools to the white 'pick tool' at the top of your toolbox.
5. With the white 'pick tool' selected, click on the text you just typed if it isn't still selected, and then look at the top of your screen - you should see Corel's interactive tool bar showing alignment options relating to what you are doing.
6. Click on the button or find the function that says "Place on other side" in the flyout of that button/function. This will place your text, which was initially on the outside baseline of the circle - to the inside baseline of the circle.
7. Now, with the white 'pick tool' you should be able to simply grab the 'dot' in front of your text by clicking it and holding down on your left mouse button, and then you can drag it around in a rotation to the position you want it.
8. You can click the "distance from path" button at the top in the interactive toolbar either "up or down" to position the text toward the inside of the circle or outside the circle to your liking....and then just re-rotate the text into the desired position with the white 'pick tool' as you wish.
9. Then, to release the text from the path - right click on the text or path and select "Convert to Curves" and this will separate one from the other....you can then delete the circle if you wish.
Here's the Youtube video link...hope this helps.
Sorry the video quality is crappy and small, I haveen't figured out how to make it clearer yet....but just use it in conjunction with my instructions and it will make sense hopefully.
I can give you my cell # if you need further assistance...
I can send a clearer file to be played in Windows Media Player to anyone who is interested. I mainly use Illustrator, but used to use Corel exclusively for several years.

fit text to a curve has been a power feature of corel since at least version 6 that I am sure of.. I just do not remember ver 3 very well.
