This is actually my nephews ride but I use it while I'm in SoCal. It will be getting an update soon of paint and a new big inch motor which have been ordered from Ultima, that motor and trans will go to me for my new build. We have a couple of bikes and some ten vehicles all of which we both use and neither one of us complain or even give a ratsass to who uses what. Thats always the way it was up until ten or so years ago and than started up again recently, sure it will stay this way.

If you had a downturned exhaust, you could rev it up and clear those leaves of the sidewalk. A bigger motor would clear the neighbors yard too. A bike like that would never keep me from doing yardwork. HA!

Man, that is an awesome bike. The weather we've been having down here is making me want one badly... and a new cycle shop just opened up in our town. I GOTTA stay out of there.
/was a little scared to look at your 'Polluter' //was gonna throw up if it was an OP style shot of your butt or something

That Honda a 450 or 750? Never could make hide nor hair for all their different models, but think sidemounted(inline 4) models were all 750's, and he's right OP, they're quieter than normal hogs until leaned into then just as throaty...ask me how I know, go ahead, dbl. dog dare ya........
Well, I'll tell ya anyways....today was day I was roped into a bike ride w/close friends; to elaborate: this a annual, panhead only run to Mt.Charleston, just north of Vegas, about 30/35 miles, one way, cumilating at another friends house(all wood, very nice mtn. home) for elk bbq and suds...as I don't drink, I sat w/the kids, naw, but sounded it good, fact is, no kids...long story short, had a great time, got to ride new T-650 Triumph of close friends, (the one that roped me into this ride, thankfully, as it were, a good choice), harassed harleys both ways,it was very fast and surprisenily smooth...end of story is I'm refreshed for another 6 months/2 years, whichever comes first....
Nice scoot Joey, who's flames? (if you don't mind me asking?) Takes balls to go orange... Detail out that new motor in orange and that ride will take on a whole new personality...did one here few years back for a little badass Hawaiian, pearl orange w/candy orange island tribal graphics, nice scoot...all orange looked way cool...

Frank I don't know if you remember or not but when I was a transient in Vegas I had a 65 black Barracuda which I eventually wound up chopping and rode the widow maker, a H3 Kawi 750 with a turbo it would rev to 13,000 rpm it was yellow pearl. That was my ride for doing mobile work although it had an extended swing arm, I would keep that at Litefoots shop which I wound up selling to a sand dragger do to fear of my life, that thing was life threatening.
As far as the orange bike Anthony had it done when I wasn't around so who knows who done it, could have been any striper as the lines don't look like mine, theres a name like Jimmy Wade or wad on it. Outside of Black, orange has always been my second choice for base then green. I would have done a different color for the stripe because I go for the sick look but hey its done.

Nice Neil! I had to save the pic to my computer so I could zoom in a bit. Did you do the paint? What year/model/mods??? You too Joey -some details please.
Frank, It's a 500-4. They actually did 750, 650,550,500,400,350 as inline 4's. And they did alot of the same displacements as twins also, so keeping tabs on the models really is a challenge.
The 500 got bored up to 550 after a couple years. Mine's a '71, the first year of that size. I think I made the right choice for a first bike. It's big enough to be all the bike someone would want (she'll do 100 barely), but still small and light enough(400lbs) to handle really well.
It's definitely not as loud as some of the v twins running around here, but a friend that lives a couple blocks away says he knows when I'm going somewhere. I actually plan on putting some mufflers on, the previous owner was on his way to making it a chopper, so cutting the pipes was his idea. I prefer to draw as little police attention as possible. These engines love going up to 10,000 rpm and I've gotten the eye from some cops already for that.
One of my projects is to make an electric cycle. There's a dragbike called Killacycle -top speed about 260mph and 0-60 in .9 seconds. Now that's what I'm talking about.

Here's my newly restored ride at the "Bring Out Your Dead" bike rally. It's a 1970 Rupp Roadster, I bought it in poor shape at a Letterheads meet in Walnut, Iowa. I completly tore it down sandblasted and painted it. With my big butt bottoms it out, but the kids love to ride it. Currently the boys and I are restoring a 70's era Honda Oddessey go kart, I'm on the look out for an older BMW bike to put a side car on this winter.

Barber's Vintage Festival is this weekend http://www.barbermuseum.org/vintage/vintage.html I'm sure there will be some BMWs there for sale. I'll be taking lots of pics. Maybe I'll come home with something too.

THat Rupp is nice. jeff Cranks brother has a restored Whizzer which he hot-rodded and I don't know why.
Dusty, that looks like the place to be for that weekend I like swap meets for both bikes or cars and I try not miss not one of them when I'm home. These days I have so many projects that its hard to work on just one. I am still looking for information in regards to the Arctic Enterprise which is pictured on my website. It seems no one has ever seen one, right down to the people who wound up buying the company.

It's a 05 1100 Yamaha Vstar, I have a lot of chrome put on there with Vance&Hines exhaust and a hyper Charger as well, Yes I did the paint, actuall just Airbrushed on some flames and Barbed wire along with a wolf on the tank. we have 24000 km's on there in just over 2 years, that's not bad considering we barely get 6 months of riding here.

Never realized, bet that makes a parts manual publisher happy, lol...reminds me of International Harvestor's parts books...
I solved exhaust pipe problem on my 750 by running baffle inserts in cut off pipes, worked great...simple self tapping screws held them in place...

An '02 Honda ACE. I have done a couple of things since this picture. I have added a set of Jardine Forward Controls, to stretch my feet out more, and a chrome cold air intake, as well as a solo seat.
So far this year, I've put less than 200 miles on it. Man, I gotta get out more.

David and Doug, you'd have to have some stinky feet for those to qualify as polluters.
Mark, you're running out of nice weather up there. Why don't you ride that thing?
Randy, tell us about yours now that you've got the pics added.
I like all the custom paint going on. I've got another 500 and 2 550's that are disassembled future projects that will get some custom paint. The next one will be going this direction:
